Wallspace* Cappellini

Giulio Cappellini

Since joining the Cappellini family business in 1979, architect and art director Giulio Cappellini has revamped a relatively small furniture manufacturing company into the go-to launch pad for up and coming designers - most notably Jasper Morrison in the mid-1980s - turning it into major market player. Over the years, Cappellini's art direction has also seen the company commission practically every notable design hand, from Tom Dixon and Marc Newson, to Fabio Novembre and Shiro Kuramata. For his Wallspace*, the veritable talent scout has chosen a selection of his favourite furniture from the brand's new book, This is Not a Catalogue, which celebrates all the products that have put the Cappellini brand on the world map.
