This is a big month for Diesel. Not only has the brand launched their second homeware collection at Milan's Salone del Mobile - the company's first car collaboration with Fiat has just been unveiled.
On show at Diesel's flagship Milan store, the Fiat 500C has been earmarked as an icon of 'massexclusivity' ('non-exclusive exclusiveness').
Matching Fiat's condensed aesthetic with a little Diesel machismo, the convertible 500C comes complete with chunky, 16-inch alloy wheels, satin finishes, a dark denim interior and Diesel's iconic Mohican symbol adorning the gear lever.
Alongside the 500C, highlights of the new Diesel Home Collection include the angular 'Rock' chairs, which follow on from last year's 'Rock' lamps - and the industrial style 'Pylon Prismic' dining table with a graphic, glass top - all of which are produced in conjunction with Moroso. The 'Perf' lights - a collaboration with Foscarini - are inspired by perforated lamps from North Africa, and emit delicate patterns of light from a smattering of holes punched into the shade.
