Slotting in neatly between the original lifestyle brand adidas Originals and the sport-inspired luxury label Y-3, adidas SLVR has been quick off the mark in making itself known by launching a new stand-alone store in SoHo during New York Fashion Week. ‘Simply perfect’ is the adidas SLVR message- a concept evident throughout the label’s clean and contemporary design elements and freshly echoed in the aesthetic of the store. Creating a unifying backdrop for the collection, this eco-chic space was designed by Sid Lee along with the adidas retail team. Simple and timeless, the minimal functionality of the store is characterised with just the right amount of natural elements of locally sourced wood to contrast fluidly with the polished details of glass and steel. More adidas SLVR stand-alone stores are to follow in Paris, Miami and Los Angeles.
